Cheap, Easy way to make Play-Doh!

Hi Everyone! Hope you all are having a great weekend!

So, in Johnny's pre-school they have a rotation chart set up to where each student makes and brings in play-doh that lasts a good couple of weeks, this week it was his turn. It is cheap and easy! In fact, everyone probably has all or most of the ingredients in their cupboards at home!

Here is a list of the ingredients:

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of salt
  • 4tsp cream of tartar
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2tbs vegetable oil
  • food coloring(color of your choice!)

Spray your large saucepan and a wooden spoon with non-stick cooking spray.  Then, add all of your ingredients to the saucepan and cook over low heat.

Stir continuously.

When all the dough comes together in a ball, remove it from the saucepan. Knead for about 5 minutes until dough is firm and smooth.  Wrap in celophane so it doesn't dry out.

Enjoy!
